My Patreon is now active.

As we near the next iteration of Merunga’s story and website, I’m finally crossing this item off of the to-do list. Part of it is general excitement over finally posting updates again, part of it is finally having some behind-the-scenes material as a value-add.

The breakdown is going to be thusly:

For free, you get random sketchy stuff that just happens, doodles to kill time, doodles to fill in the white space of whatever papers I’m handed. Mostly doodles.

For a $1, you get the free doodles, and a thank you. I really enjoy working on this story, and I hope you really enjoy reading it. In setting up my Patreon I confronted the question of why I am doing what I am doing, and there’ll be a larger post about that later going into reasons, but in the final analysis, it came down to ‘Because I want to share this idea.’ So honestly, for those reading, thanks, thanks for reading, thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts, just, thanks.

For $5 You still get the doodles and the thanks, but you’ll also get to see all the process art and notes. Working on a strip again means I have the backlog to share the process art more than an hour before it becomes posted as finished art. Also, as I continue to work on the full size pages that will form the next chapter in our story, those will be shared too, much in advance of their compilation and release. The icing on this cake is sketch requests. Stop by for my Tuesday art-stream and request a sketch, I’ll get it done on camera and e-mailed off to you. (Speaking of streaming, when the school year starts up again in a few weeks, I’ll be addmire more time and days to my streaming schedule, so hopefully they’ll be a time that you could stop by.)

I’ll be adding more tiers and even some goals as time goes on, but for now, I’d like to keep it simple, get this next chapter finished and out the door, while at the same time providing a shorter story worth coming back for.

Next on the to-do list, downloadable collected editions.
