Some scenery to start the week. I refrained from my usual tendency to get flowery and verbose, enabling the delicately embellished and lusciously color adjusted graphite etchings to speak for themselves. So you’re welcome for that. I am pleased with the results.

Just out of curiosity, was the scenery in the first panel based on the Siq at Petra in Jordan? (For those unaware, the Siq is the lengthy canyon leading up to Petra proper. It looks pretty much like the first panel.)

And yes kinda sorta. I was watching John Carter at the time, where they travel through a river canyon very similar to the Siq, so I Google imaged the Siq to draw the actual image, but I’ll give the credit to JC.
