I like to think of this as Merunga’s level 8 armor. She’s got a couple more dungeons, couple more bosses before she’s at that top-line endgame set that can be enhanced with jewels or amulets, but this stuff is pretty bad-ass. It may not look like it, but it is somewhat interesting to draw. I don’t have enough variation in my clothes, everyone wears mostly the same thing, day in day out, and it all looks to be of a similar fabric. This is a slight departure from that, because baby steps, but I’d like to open up my clothing repertoire even more.

Everyone has their own ‘costume,’ some have a more than others, but there’s not any real variety there. As I read through my Prince Valiants again I’m noticing the clothing more, besides the knights, people tend to wear more than one thing, something Merunga’s characters are lacking. It make the visuals slightly more boring, and of zero interest for anyone to ever cosplay.

Clothing is actually something I’ll be talking about in the next story, not a plot point, but a subject of discussion for sure.
