And who is that rotten man in the last panel? Not a zombie, we’re not jumping on the zombie bandwagon. Zombies aren’t a thing I’m interested in writing about. I’ve read about zombies, World War Z (read the book, haven’t seen the movie,) The Walking Dead (read the comic, haven’t watched the show,) but I have not yet, nor intend to write about them. That second part could change, but I doubt it. Just like my desire to ever write/draw anything with a Marvel character, I just don’t feel it.
I’d like to disagree with your understanding of the term “zombie”.
It is true that zombies in the US culture have turned into a free-for-all human-like game to train unused-but cherished weapons on (not afraid of split infinitives).
In this, erm, “realm”, they serve as human targets where it is not acceptable to kill ‘sentient” humans, for social rules won’t allow it. As exhibit one I’d like to mention one of the best “trash” race games of old, Carmageddon, which gave you points for running over “zombies”, and moreso if you did it in a “creative” fashion. It is my understanding that Carmageddon was an inspiration for the creators of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
Dig a bit further and zombies are but the result of voodoo rites involving mind control, akin to Vraaken’s thrall or to golems (in the “Shelley” acceptation of the term)I’d like to disagree with your understanding of the term “zombie”.

Dig a bit further and zombies are but the result of voodoo rites involving mind control, akin to Vraaken’s thrall or to golems (in the “Shelley” acceptation of the term), depending on what legend you might choose to believe. In a way Curo is a zombie, with his simple mind controlled by the fairies.
This note just as a reminder that in a way and u, depending on what legend you might choose to believe. In a way Curo is a zombie, with his simple mind controlled by the fairies.
This note just as a reminder that in a way and unbeknown to you YOU HAVE BEEN DRAWING ZOMBIES ALL THAT TIME, MWAHAHAHAHAA 😉
(and you enjoyed it, too)
I was thinking ‘zombie’ in it’s current Americanized definition it’s true, but what I’ve presented is much closer to my first experience with zombies, namely, Bela Lugosi movies and multiple episodes of ‘The Shadow,’ where it’s a mind control gimmick and not an eat your brains gimmick. So yep, this has been a zombie comic all along! Hopefully I’ll get that call from AMC looking to do another spin-off any day now.
Sorry, something went horribly wrong with cut’n’paste but as I can’t edit I trust you can make sense out of it…
