Whew, MADE IT. Last Monday, desperately packing bags to leave on an unexpected trip Tuesday morning, I did not think today’s strip would happen. Nor most of last week, but it did, and my record remains unblemished. I do want to apologize for last Friday’s strip however, it isn’t what I’d intended, but I didn’t want to miss a day and the writing didn’t change.
The entirety of this week was drawn in a cafeteria (I love cafeterias,) I’m happy with it both artistically, and from a story perspective, we’re moving into the meat of this particular story.
Also about five years ago when I played with the idea of going into the gaming industry for about five minutes I wanted to make a game called ‘Old Stones.’ I envisioned it as King Arthur vs. Cthulhu. Once I was over the gaming infatuation I wrote it as two different comics, both still Cthulhu mythos focused. The first version was my King Arthur version, the second was a contemporary piece that I’d still like to do some day. ‘Old Stones’ in Merunga shares nothing with either version, except the name, and couple of pieces of set decoration.
Just have to say, I’m really diggin’ the stripped down, cleaner look.
And I just have to ask: Who maintains the grass roof on the hovel, or is it The Hovel?
‘The Hovel,’ and The Hovel is kind of like a time-share condo, everyone who visits pitches in to help.
