4H is where it’s at. I can’t buy 4h lead for my mechanical, and as much trouble as I have with keeping a regular pencil with the point I like, working with a 4H lead is much more, soothing, I guess, easier? I like it better for sure. Another upgrade that I’ll now be retrograding.

There’s an omission to the conversation here. He can get out, but Haimo and Col don’t know that, not yet.  They’ll find out eventually, but another, more important party will refuse to accept it as a possibility.
