One of the things that got me most excited about increasing the size of the strip was the ability to write an actual conversation. With the single strip format I’d start with a page of dialog, and then keep going over it, again and again, cutting out as much as I could to make it fit. I would argue I wasn’t entirely successful at the endeavor, because how many week have we had where two people were just all chatty chatty the whole time? I’m pretty sure this page would have been at least two, possibly three days worth of strips under the old system, so you’re welcome that we’re getting it all over with now instead of dragging it out.

On a side note, Karkle’s entry into the cast list will be coming eventually, almost certainly before this story is over.
