Never Play With Someone Else’s Food
Another fun one to draw, feel like I’m getting the hang of these larger strips. The chicken even looks chicken-y.
A long time ago, somewhere around a year I’d say, I started drawing Curo, and I drew little spots all over him, like little mosquito bits was the thought. However, those early strips were pretty inconsistent, and the spots disappeared because I just plain forgot them. But I still like the idea of them, so Bogdan will have to pay that price. And this time, I will be consistent, so, sorry about that Bogdan, it’s going to ruin your looks.
Fun anatomy fact: minautors’ ribs open on their back (with the spine on front, presumably) 😉
Nasty little gnats though
Is the head not twisty enough? I wanted it to be twisty, like they’d turned it around somehow. I think if I’d showed a bend in the elbow to establish direction it could have worked better.
But yeah, those little guys are jerks.
Definitely the best strip of the new format so far. It almost makes it worth suffering through Tuesday and Wednesday when the internet is useless. If the faeries are that possessive, why did they let Curo get sacrificed to the wind monster?
Not much nats can do against the wind or fire, but against flesh and blood, particularly that of the beef variety? Mmm, hamburger!
It’s what’s for dinner!
Curo had reached the end of their life-cycle, a cross between parasitism and pupa/chrysalis processes. That’s the story I’m going with.
