The Drivers are becoming a much bigger part of this than I ever thought they would be. I’m almost leaning towards the next step in their particular story before the next big change to the Caravan. What that story should have been, under the original plan, is more than a little different to how it will actually play out. Some elements, I just plain forgot to work into the strip, some elements I deliberately left out, because what sounded good in my head, I didn’t trust in my ability to display.

On the whole I’ve been more adventuresome with my art than I had ever dared dream, and some aspects of it, architectural backgrounds, have been a joy. Others, I can think of one major aspect off the top of my head, have not been any more fun now than they were a year ago.
